BIOL 6333: Cell Culture

This graduate level laboratory and lecture course provides the theory and practice of modern in vitro cell culture techniques. 
Starting with the core principles of cell biology, the fundamentals of sustaining adherent and suspension in vitro cell cultures are introduced, along with the methodology required to archive and analyze cell cultures. The course also introduces students to fluorescence-based assays for experimentally examining cell viability and function.
   

Three hours of lecture/laboratory per meeting.

Three class meetings per week during the June summer session
