BIOL 6115 NA: Fundamentals of Neuroscience

This course explores the molecular and cellular mechanisms of neuronal function. 
Topics include neural cellular and molecular biology, the electrical and chemical
basis for neurotransmission, as well as a study of the sensory and motor
systems that organisms use for environmental interactions. 
Drawing upon the current scientific literature, this course investigates the latest
findings that relate to neuronal function and pathology.

Three hours per week
[Prerequisite: BIOL 2211]
